The book repair work undertaken by ‘The Bookbindery’
is tremendously varied.
Repairs can be as simple as tipping in a loose page to volumes that require major restoration work.
The types of books repaired, restored or rebound is widely contrasting, too. Many books are repaired because of their special value to the person, family, business or institution that owns them, rather than because of any monetary value.

We repair a lot of family related books and documents - from servicemen's diaries to family histories to photograph albums, and MANY other volumes. Favourite dictionaries, thesaurus, and similar volumes are another type of volume that we repair or rebind regularly. We get used to our own particular volume, moreover a special volume is often much more useful to its owner than other supposedly similar books.
